Dial Santa ClausCall Santa

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Dial Santa Claus is a simple Christmas entertainment site: you tap a button, place a call to the Santa line, and hand the phone to your child. This policy explains, in plain language, what information exists during that visit and that call, what we do with it, and what we do not.

We would rather be honest and understated than promise something we do not do. If something is not part of how the service runs, it is not described here.

The short version

  • The website does not ask you to sign up, log in, or create an account. The only thing you can send us is a message through the contact form.
  • The phone call is where information actually exists: your phone number, basic call details, the audio of the call, and anything anyone says while you are on the line.
  • Calls may be recorded or transcribed, depending on how the service is configured.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to target advertisements.

Information collected through the website

The page you are reading is static. It does not set first-party cookies of its own, and it does not include analytics or advertising tracking scripts, so there is no tracking cookie or tracking pixel to describe.

Like most websites, the servers that deliver this page may automatically record standard technical details needed to serve it and keep it working, such as the type of device and browser making the request, the page that referred you, and the date and time of the request. We use this to operate and protect the site, not to build a profile about you.

The page also loads its web fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives a standard request for those font files. If your browser blocks that request, the site still works and simply shows a fallback font.

Information you send through the contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you type into it, along with the date and time it arrived. We use it to reply to you and to look after the service. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

The form is not a members’ area: there is no account behind it, and it never asks for passwords, payment details, or anything else sensitive. Please keep those out of your message.

Information collected during a phone call

When you call the Santa line, the phone experience may collect or process:

  • Your phone number and related call metadata, such as date, time, duration, routing information, and call status.
  • Audio from the call.
  • A recording and/or a transcript of the call, depending on how the service is configured. We do not state that every call is always recorded.
  • Anything callers voluntarily say during the conversation, which may include a child’s name, interests, Christmas wishes, family details, or other personal information.

Please avoid sharing sensitive information that is not needed for the experience, such as home addresses, financial details, health information, passwords, or anything else you would not want repeated back to a stranger.

How we use information

Information gathered through the site and the phone line is used to provide, operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service. Practical examples include answering your call correctly, working out why a call dropped, spotting abuse or spam calling, and making the character and the phone experience better over time.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it to target advertisements to you.

Third-party service providers

We rely on third parties to help the service run. These may include telecommunications and carrier networks, voice and speech providers, artificial-intelligence providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, automation and logging tools, and similar services.

These providers may process some of the information described above in order to operate the service on our behalf. We expect them to use it only for the purposes we ask them to perform, and we are not responsible for how they handle information once it is in their systems beyond the terms of our arrangements with them.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes, and it does not run advertising or analytics scripts. Because of that, there are no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies to opt out of on this site.

Your own browser may store ordinary things unrelated to us, such as visited-site history or cached files, and your phone carrier may keep call records under its own privacy policy. You can clear browser data at any time in your browser settings.

Children and families

This experience is made for families, and children may take part in the call. A parent or guardian should start the call and stay nearby to supervise it, rather than letting a child place the call on their own.

Please understand that if a call is recorded or transcribed, a child’s voice and statements may be captured along with everyone else’s. A quick word before you dial keeps things comfortable: a first name and a few Christmas wishes are plenty for the magic to work.

How long we keep information

We do not publish a fixed retention period for call data, because different records serve different purposes. Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service, to keep it secure, to meet legal obligations, and to resolve disputes, and is then deleted or aggregated where practicable.

How we protect information

We take reasonable and appropriate measures intended to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people and systems that need it to run the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and the decision to share information is always yours.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop using it in a particular way. To make a request, send us a message through the contact form and tell us what you would like. Where we need to confirm who is asking, we will do that reasonably and without asking for more than we need.

You also have simple choices every time you dial: you can say less, keep a child’s details general, or end the call at any time.

Legal disclosures

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid legal request, or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others, including preventing abuse of the phone line.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. For small, non-surprising changes, that update is the notice. If a change materially affects how call information is handled, we will highlight it here before it takes effect.

Contact us

Questions, concerns, or a request about your information are welcome through the contact form, which reaches the person who runs this website.

The number 678-586-7029 connects you to the Santa character for a holiday call rather than to the people who operate the site, so please use the form for anything about your information.
